Obituary for Josephine Viscuso Josephine “Jo Jo” Viscuso, age 91, of West Haven, beloved wife of the late Joseph Viscuso passed away on January 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Haven on May 3, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Julia (Catalano) DeTulio. Before retirement, Josephine worked as a custodian for West Have Public Schools.

She was a resident of West Haven for over seventy years. Josephine is survived by her daughters Donna Viscuso of Oakland, CA and Karen and her husband John Grosjean of North Branford. She was predeceased by ten siblings.

Josephine loved to spend most of her time with her friends and family. Visitation hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home Saturday morning at 8:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Saint Lawrence Church 9:00 am.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
