Josephine’s Obituary Josephine Marie Voelker, 99, (17 days shy of turning 100) died on February 23, 2019 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Rossville, Kansas on March 12, 1919, the daughter of Henry and Monica (Prockish) McGuire. Josephine was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church.

She married Pius Voelker in Delia, Kansas on September 21, 1937. He predeceased her on July 4, 1990 as well as a son Larry Wayne Voelker who died in 1992. Survivors include a son, Melvin Voelker of St. Louis, MO and a daughter Sharon Banks of Berryton, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Voelker was cremated. Graveside inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
