Obituary for Mrs. Joy D. Diggs Mrs. Joy D. Diggs, 78, of Murray, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House. Born October 15, 1939 in Cottage Grove, TN. She worked as a supervisor for Washington Water and Power in Spokane, WA.

Joy was a member of the Church of the Living God in Paris, TN. She served on the Mother’s Board and was an usher at church. She was also the Women’s Ministry President and was a member of LINKS Women’s Organization in Spokane, WA.

Joy was survived by two step daughters, Sherry Porter (Fred) of Paris, Alecia Michelle Lewis of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, R.C. Olive of Murray, Bobby Olive (Mary) of Paris; four sisters, Verla Gaines of Murray, Zora Sanders of Paris, Virginia Skinner of Murray, Donna Diaz (Lewis); two grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Diggs; parents, Hershel and Jewel Page Olive; two brothers, Sylvester Olive and Hershel Olive, Jr.; five sisters, Mildred Todd, Jenny Kinley, Esther Blakemore, Pauline Byars and Bessie Williams. Funeral services are set for 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray, KY.

Burial will follow at the Murray Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the Heritage Chapel. Condolences may be left online at www.
