Joyce Gallegos Hyatt, 75, of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away on May 12, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents Gil Blas and Clorinda Gallegos; husband Jimmy Hyatt; son Jimmy Hyatt, Jr.; grandsons Joseph Gonzales; Jeffrey Winn; son in-law Luciano Gonzales; sisters Tillie Berryhill, Mary Foster, Nora Archuleta, Mercy Sears; brothers Crisiforo Gallegos, Arsenio Gallegos, Adonario Gallegos, Joe Gallegos; she is survived by her beloved dog Sandy, daughters Rhonda Winn; Patti Gonzales; Toni Eaton (Matt); Tina (Russell) Flanery; Deborah Carroll; Jeanna Hyatt; sisters Pat Lester; Ruth (Tom) Archuleta; Jean (Arnold) Cisneros; Edna Carr; Carolyn Gallegos (Barlo); brothers Gil (Margaret) Gallegos; Albert Gallegos; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Joyce worked for a time at Leisure Lodge and at Herschel’s in Sulphur Springs.

She liked bowling, fishing, playing on slot machines and loved to watch the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. Joyce will be cremated and she and her husband’s ashes will be buried in Cerro, New Mexico at a later date. We acknowledge with deep appreciation the many prayers, expressions of love, concern, and kindness during our moment of sorrow.
