OBITUARY Joyce Elaine Johnson April 4, 1938 – July 24, 2018 Joyce Elaine Johnson, age 80, of Plant City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Joyce was born April 4, 1938 in Plant City, Florida to Jess William Long and Lillie Viola (Lynn) Long. Joyce had a Bachelors of Humane Letters and she and her husband, Loris, were missionaries.

She had a passion for children and adored her husband. She was a warm, compassionate woman who welcomed and loved everyone she met. Joyce is survived by her husband of 56 years, Loris Johnson; daughters, Amelia Stone (Roger), Lorrie Wright (Lorinda), Julie Beam (Michael); son, Carlos Baki (Doreen); brother, Gary Long; sister, Phyllis Artman; 10 grandchildren, Bobby, Jennifer, Carrie, Benjamin, Dianna, Rebekah, Jonathon, Amber, Maya, Kristen; and 14 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wells Memorial and Event Center, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563. A memorial service will occur Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 3:00 PM, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to make donations in Joyce’s memory to Latin American Childcare at www.
