Obituary for Joyce King Joyce King, 76, of Elliston, passed away on September 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Preston King; daughters, Lisa King Darnall and Debbie Wheeler; parents, Harvey and Mae Price; and brothers, Lynnwood Price Sr., Edward Price, and Bill Price. She is survived by her son, Tommy Wheeler and his son Cody of Shawsville; granddaughters, Lisa Michelle Darnall and Lynnette Jones of Salem; great-grandson, Skyler Jones; niece, Sherry Price and her daughter Whitney Ramey; numerous long time family friends; and her beloved cat Squirrel.

Joyce was born Verna Virginia King and grew up in the Prices Fork area. She had a great love of pets including her chihuahuas Tiger and Peanut, and cats Kit Kat and Squirrel. She loved country music, and had thousands of movies, a collection that began in the 1980s.
