OBITUARY Joyce Marie Leigh December 18, 1934 – November 18, 2018 Joyce Marie Leigh, 83, passed away on November 18, 2018. Joyce was born December 18, 1934 in Chesaning, Michigan to Walter and Tracy Scott. Joyce graduated from Lansing ton High School.

She worked for the State of Michigan Board of Nursing, Donley Elementary School, Waverly East Middle School, Waverly High School, St. Vincent’s Children’s Home, and Payne Rosso Company. Joyce was a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church and the Red Hat Society. She loved gardening, bird watching, knitting and sewing.

Joyce was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Leigh and daughter, Susan Walimaki. Surviving to cherish her memory are children, Linda (Mark) Bond, Steven (Carole) Leigh, Kathy Leigh; grandchildren, Amie Bond, Aaron (Hannah) Bond, Adam (Katrina) Bond, Adrienne Bond, Brian Pallas, Kevin (fiancee Meghan Trotter) Pallas, Emily (James) Kennedy, Joe (fiancée Sarah Smith) Pallas, Jessica Leigh, and Andrew (Rachelle White and son, Noalen) Leigh; great grandchildren, Sumner and Grace Menold; Clara Mae, Brayden, Levi and Evan Bond; and Clare Kennedy. The family will receive visitors November 20 from 4:00-8:00 pm at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 1519 Elmwood Rd.

, Lansing. Funeral services will take place November 21 at 11:00 am at the church with visitation one hour prior. The Rev.

David Pike will officiate. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions in honor of Joyce may be made to St. David’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
