OBITUARY Joyce Whaley-Hohstadt April 8, 1933 – January 27, 2019 Joyce Whaley Hohstadt passed away peacefully Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at the age of 85, surrounded by her family. She was born April 8, 1933 in Meadows, Texas. She was born to Lois and Larce Franklin and the eldest of three girls.

She lived her life devoted to her family and to the Lord. She never had a negative thing to say about anyone. Her passion was making everyone feel special and loved.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Allen Hohstadt and his children and grand children; her children JC Whaley (Dianne), James Whaley (Rosie), Debbie Nicholas (Nick), Troy Whaley (Susan); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded her in death are her parents, two sisters, Patricia and Carolyn and her first husband, J.C. Whaley. Joyce will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Special thanks to the Sheridan Medical Lodge and Hospice for their devoted care in her final days. Funeral service will be at 1pm at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home on Wednesday January 30th. Visitation will be from 6-8 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
