Obituary of Joyce Ann Whitley Joyce Ann (Knisely) Whitley, age 83 years, of Norristown, passed away on Friday March 8, 2019 Joyce was born in Conshohocken, Pa on Sunday February 16, 1936, daughter of the late Raymond C. and the late Frances F. ( Ferrier ) Knisely. Joyce (a.k.a. “Speedy”) has been living at Regina Nursing Center for the last 9 years. Formerly of Conshohocken where she had lived most of her life.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Conshohocken. Joyce worked as a Glass Worker with Frances Freas Glass Works, and prior to that with Manford Hosiery & Mill. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and barbeques with friends.

She most enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Joyce was a member of the Avanti Lodge No. 2509 and she voluntered with Retired Senior Volunteer Program og Montgomery County.

She is survived by a daughter Jo Ann (& Harold) Wismer of Harleysville, a son Charles (& Regina) Whitley, III of Conshohocken, a daughter Donna (& James) Dilks of Conshohocken, her brothers Raymond Knisely of Trooper and William Knisely of Texas. Also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey R. Whitley.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Mar 16 from 10:30 AM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. There will be a visitation on Saturday, Mar 16 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by The Rev.

Robert Ettinger. Interment will be private in Valley Forge Gardens of King of Prussia, Pa Memorial contributions may be made in her Memory to: Cold Point Baptist Church, 5063 Militia Hill Road, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462.
