Obituary for Juan Rivera Juan Rivera went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2018, at the age of 96, in San Antonio, TX. He was born on February 15, 1922 in Cidra, Puerto Rico, to Ramon Diaz and Genera Rivera. He is preceded in death by his wife Raquel Rivera, parents and brother Henry Rivera.

Juan is survived by his loving children, Joel Rivera (Doris), John Rivera (Maria L.), Anna Elizabeth Rivera, Jonathan Rivera, David Rivera and Raquel L. Rivera; sister Elisa Hernandez; 11 grandchildren, Joel N., Xavier I., Dory A., Julien L., Cloe, Jenara E., Jonoa J., Penelope, Abraham J., Monica M. and Natalia H. and 3 great-grandchildren, Jeremiah L. Garcia, Odysseus Tristan Esparza and Elijah Noah Garcia. Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Mission Park South.
