Obituary for Juana A. Vasquez Juana A. Vasquez, 78, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on December 25, 2018 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Juana was born on February 21, 1940 in the Dominican Republic to Felix Vasquez and Ana Fernandez. Juana was devoted to spending time with her family and collected photos of her dearest family members.

She enjoyed taking care of her grand and great-grandchildren. She also loved to dance and make people laugh and was the family healer. She took great pride in being from the Dominican Republic and was known to gather and provide supplies and donations to the needy in her home village.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Evaristo Sanchez of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; daughters, Lourdes Montoya & husband Jeovel Montoya of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Maria Elena Glerum & husband Andrew Glerum of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Clara Sanchez of Fairview, New Jersey, and Ana Montoya & Husband William Montoya of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sons, Jose Manuel Sanchez and wife Gloria Sanchez of Lantana, Florida and Felix Sanchez and wife Reina Sanchez of Boynton Beach, Florida; brothers, Felix Ramon Fernandez and Juan “Gido” Fernandez, both of Union City, New Jersey; sister, Mirtia Fernandez of Union City, New Jersey; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother, Ana Mercedes Fernandez and father, Felix Antonio Vasquez. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 3PM to 6PM with a prayer service to be held at 4PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34984.
