Juanita’s Obituary JUANITA G. ACOSTA SEPTEMBER 30, 1928 – MARCH 18, 2019 Mrs. Juanita G. Acosta, 90, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, March 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband; Francisco Acosta, children: Jose Francisco Acosta, Ricardo Acosta, & Elsa Juanita Acosta, her parents, Herman and Juanita Guajardo; maternal aunt: Anita Maldonado; sisters: Elena Zepeda, Alicia Peña, Rodolfo Guajardo and Berta Guajardo. Juanita was the heart and soul of the Acosta Family and served as an inspiration to her children and grandchildren.

She instilled her love and faith in God and the belief that everything was possible through work, commitment, faith, and love. She found beauty in nature and took joy in all around her and taught her family to do the same. Every family gathering was filled with loud laughter, hugs and kisses.

Left to cherish her memory are: her children Eduardo Luis (Ronnie) Acosta, Anna Laura (Jorge) Acosta-Vidaurri, Jorge Alberto (Veronica) Acosta, Miguel Angel (Grace) Acosta, Rodolfo Herman (Vickie) Acosta, Virginia (Robert) Acosta Garza, Irma Isabel Acosta, Elsa Jane (Steve) Hill, and Francisco (Diana) Acosta, Jr.; daughters-in-law: Isabel Acosta and Graciela Acosta; 27 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, A. Yolanda Cantu, and German (Tamara) Guajardo, sister-in-law: Connie Moncivais, and nieces, nephews and friends. The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, March 22, 2019 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd. ; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning, March 23, 2019 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Eduardo Luis Acosta Jr., Jorge Alberto Acosta, Miguel Angel Acosta, Rodolfo German Acosta, Francisco Acosta Jr., Steve Hill, Robert Garza, and Jorge Vidaurri. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer is Eduardo Luis Acosta. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the funeral service professionals at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Road, Laredo, Texas 78041; (956)722-8850.
