Judith’s Obituary Judith A. “Judy” Voecks, Kaukauna, age 70, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019. She was born in Appleton on May 20, 1948 to the late Leo “Dutch” and Regina “Reggie” (Fink) Brooks. Judy married Frederick “Fritz” Voecks at Holy Cross Parish on May 26, 1978.

He preceded her in death on July 18, 2016 after 38 years of marriage. Together, they owned Fox Valley Coin in Kimberly. Judy was a talented seamstress and passed her love of sewing to two of her grandchildren.

She also enjoyed embroidery, knitting and quilting. Judy was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Appleton. Judy is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Lee) Griesbach of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Matthew, Anna and Eric; siblings: Gerald (Mary Ann) Brooks and Jeanne Selig; and lifelong friend, Geraldine Loderbauer.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Fritz, Judy was preceded in death her infant brother, Larry; and brothers-in-law: Tom Selig and Randall Voecks. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at ST.

JOSEPH PARISH (404 W. Lawrence St. Appleton) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. James Leary, O.F.M. Cap. will officiate.

Committal St. Joseph Cemetery. Judy’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Hospice Services for the compassionate care she received.
