Judith R. Byington, 74, Sandusky, died Sunday, December 30, 2018, in Stein Hospice Care Center. She was born in Sandusky in January 11, 1944 to the late Anthony and Rita (Kuns) Semprich, and attended Holy Angels and St. Mary’s High School, graduating in 1962. She retired from General Motors in Mansfield after 30 years of service.

Judith is survived by her sons, Matthew Byington, Huron and David Byington, Sandusky; grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Alexander, Aric, Ian and Eli; great-grandsons, Emilio and Zane; brothers, Paul (Linda) Semprich and Mark (Carole) Semprich; sisters, Carol, Lillian, and Barbara (George) Freuler; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia Nickles and Katherine Spencer. There will be no visitation.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date in Holy Angels Catholic Church and burial will take place in Castalia Cemetery next to her parents. Memorial contributions in Judith’s name may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1605 W. Jefferson St., Sandusky, OH 44870, or to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
