Judith Ann Rider, 71, of Girard, OH, passed away Friday October 5, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, with family close by. Judy was born October 27, 1946 in Cleveland, the third born of four children by the late Dorothy and Stephen Ludwig. Sisters, Barbara (Vince) Krawulski, Loretta (Larry) Jones, and brother, George Ludwig (1941-2012).

In 1971, Judy married her husband of 42 years, Richard James Rider Sr. (1938 – 2013). Judy had four beautiful children, Donna Marie Blankenship (1963 – 2016), Kimberly Jean Spalding (Cornelius Lemon), Richard James Rider Jr., and Deborah Ann Rider (Norman Valencia). One of Judy’s favorite things was establishing holiday traditions with her family.

At Christmas, Judy enjoyed baking cookies and crocheting gifts for her grandchildren, Candice Dunnell (Bill Bojarski), Danny and Amber Blankenship, Courtney Lemon (Miguel Vazquez), Alainah and Maliah Dean and Isaiah Valencia. Judy also had four great-grandchildren whom she adored; Alexandria, Cayden and Kylie Dunnell and Miley Vazquez. Judy was a fighter and a believer in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

The family will receive relatives and friends for Judy’s memorial service on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 4-7pm at 232 Meadowood Ln. Moreland Hills, OH 44022. All cards and/or flowers may be sent to the memorial service in care of Mr. Jeff Grundman.
