Nancy L. Hettrick, 77, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Nancy was born October 30, 1941, in Youngstown, the daughter of Myron and Jules (Pugh) Scannell. Nancy had worked as a legal secretary at Attorney Douglas Toot’s office for many years.

She loved quilting, and was excellent at making many quilts. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bob C. Hettrick, whom she married September 7, 1989, her son, William (Marcy) Chase of Girard, her step daughters, Nancy League, and Jennie Hettrick both of Kentucky, and a brother Jay Scannell of Girard, along with seven grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Pete Scannell.
