Larry Burns Jr, 73, of Liberty Twp. , passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at his residence. Larry was born, April 12, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Larry and Sylvia Marsh Burns Sr. Larry worked as a truck driver and was a 32 degree Mason.

He served his country 13-1/2 years in the Navy and 2 tours in Vietnam . He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 52 years, Judith L. (Miller) Burns, whom he married December 4, 1965, his children; Shari (Kent) Carnicom, of Fremont, Ohio, Kelly (Larry) Thomas, of New Springfield, Ohio, Larry (Ondrea) Burns III, of Columbiana, Dallas (Betsy) Burns, of Columbiana and Brent (Fiancé Jenn) Burns, of Columbiana, sisters; Dianne Garnet, of McDonald, and Lynn (Tom) Batcho, of Farmdale, brother, Jack (Clara) Boyce, of McDonald, and twelve grandchildren. Besides his parents Larry is preceded in death by his step father Floyd Boyce and his loving Aunt-Tet.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14th, 1:00 PM, at Blackstone Funeral Home, in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 Am until the time of service. Larry will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery with military honors. The family would like to thank the nurses and Hospice of The Valley for their kind and compassionate care that was given to Larry.
