Obituary for Judy Kest Judy B. Kest (nee Barrett), 70, of Eatontown, NJ, passed away on June 20, 2018. Judy was born in Manchester, New Hampshire to Gordon and Mary Barrett on April 21, 1948. She grew up in Manchester, Danville, VA and Montclair, NJ where she was a 1966 graduate of Montclair High School.

Married in March, 1970, she and her husband, Ted, moved to the Jersey Shore area where they raised their three children, all of whom attended the Ocean Township school system. Judy loved the beach and was a member of the Allenhurst Beach Club for many years. She was very proud of her children and all they’ve accomplished, and especially loved her seven grandchildren.

She was a great mom, grandma and friend and will be sorely missed by all those who loved her. She is survived by her husband Ted and their three children, B. Gary Kest and his wife Keri (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ), Alyson R. Kest (Little Silver, NJ) and Randi L. Kest (Ocean Township, NJ), her seven grandchildren; Luke, Lexi, Lola, Leah, Travis, Trevor and Troy Kest of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. , her brother Bradley R. Barrett and his wife Bonnie (Westchester, NY), sister-in-law Arlynn Freedman (Neptune, NJ), and several nieces and nephews, all of whom she was very fond.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Judy’s name to the Monmouth County SPCA, in honor of her love for animals.
