OBITUARY Judy V. Gautreaux September 11, 1938 – October 15, 2018 Judy V. Gautreaux, born September 11, 1938 to Whitney and Eunice Viator, passed away October 15, 2018 at the age of 80. She was born in New Iberia (Coteau), Louisiana and was a resident of Saint Rose, Louisiana. She graduated from Mount Carmel Academy in New Iberia and went on to graduate from Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in New Orleans.

She worked as an RN at Ocshner and later as a school nurse for St. Charles Parish Schools. She married the late Allen Gautreaux on September 19, 1959 and they went on to have three sons, Gerard Mitchell Gautreaux (Kay Karre’), the late Whitney Gerard Gautreaux, and Andre Gerard Gautreaux (Melissa Gardere). She is also survived by six grandchildren; Michelle, Matthew, Amelie, and Alyse Gautreaux, and Tyler and Paige Winters.

Judy loved to cook, entertain, travel, and camp. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who were blessed to know her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Friday, October 19, 2018 beginning at 10 AM, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM with burial to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery No.
