Obituary for Julia F. Hernandez Julia F. Hernandez, 87 of South Chicago Heights, passed away suddenly on April 14, 2018. Loving mother of Gregoria Hernandez of Park Forest, Peter Hernandez (late 1995), Robert (Dawn) Hernandez of Crete, Dionicio Hernandez, Jr. of South Chicago Heights; grandmother of: Robert, Mario (Sara) Hernandez, Chelse (Jason) Downs, Angelos, Selina and Aaron Hernandez; Great-grandmother of Owen and Leland Downs. Wife of Dionico Hernandez, Sr. (late 1989) Sister of San Juana Ramiro, Juana Hernandez, and Lionel Hernandez.

Aunt and friend of many. Born in and raised in the Santa Rosa Texas area to Manuel and Rafaela Alejandro Perez, her family worked in farming and settled in South Chicago Heights. She married Dionico Hernandez, Sr. Raising their four children, she also worked for D’Amico Macaroni Co. and cooked for banquets.

She was a Member of St. Paul Catholic Church of Chicago Heights and the Ascesion Catolicica Prayer Group. Visitation will be held on Tues. , April 17, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wed.

, April 18, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9:00 a.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL. Funeral Mass will held on Wed. , April 18, at (time pending) at St. Paul Catholic Church, 206 E. 25th St., Chicago Heights, IL.
