Juliana Martinez, died on December 29, 2018, with her family by her bedside in Reno, NV. She passed away peacefully after bravely battling cancer for 2 ½ years. Juliana was born on June 19, 1945 in Durango, Mexico.

She grew up in Oakland CA with her 4 brothers Eliodoro , Manuel, Arthur and Alfred Corral and 1 sister, Carmen Dunstan-Bukoskey. Her family eventually moved to Wadsworth, NV where she met her husband Enrique Martinez. They eloped and were married on January 23, 1962.

Enrique and… Read More » Juliana eventually settled in Sun Valley where she worked as a homemaker, loving wife and mother. Juliana was a very generous woman who devoted a lot of time to helping all those that were fortunate enough to cross in her path. She would always be busy helping others with translation services, paperwork, Dr appointments, child care and friendship.

She was dedicated to her family and friends and was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants. Her hobbies included family gatherings, cooking, baking, knitting and sewing and various handyman duties that she would always be proud of accomplishing. She is survived by her children Phil and Gaby Zumaran and their children Andrew and Samantha, Rosa Reyes and her children Victor Reyes and Andrea and Oscar Morales, Enrique Jr and Amalia Martinez and their sons Luis and Alex, Jose and Katie Martinez and their son Marco.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and will be joining her beloved husband Enrique Martinez who preceded her in death in 2016. Please join us for the viewing and rosary, which will be held at Mountain View Mortuary on Tuesday January 8th, 2019 at 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday January 9th, 2019 at 11:00 am followed by graveside service at Our Mother of Sorrows and reception at Immaculate Conception hall.
