Obituary of Juliana Feuster Juliana Feuster, 88, of Goshen, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2019 at home. Juliana was born in Kesfeld, Germany on January 11, 1931 to Eva and Mathias Horper. One of seven children she was a teenager during World War II and persevered throughout its many challenges.

Sponsored by her uncle, she sailed from Germany in 1953 and arrived in New York with one suitcase, $25 in her pocket and a dream for a better life. She quickly found employment at St. Barbara’s parish rectory in Brooklyn, NY. Juliana enjoyed attending German American Club dances and it was there that she met the love of her life Harry.

They were married in 1958 and spent the next 60 years devoted to each other and enjoying the wonderful life they made together with their two children. Juliana took great pride in being a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. For a time she was the office manager for Westco F.G. Corporation, a business started by her husband.

She enjoyed traveling, entertaining friends and family, and being a great Oma to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her cooking and baking talents were the delight of family and friends who looked forward to her gifts of Christmas cookies. She is survived by her loving husband, Harry Feuster at home; son, Perry Feuster (Mary Jane) of Stony Point, NY; daughter, Eva Ruocco (Peter) of Pearl River, NY; seven grandchildren, Michael Reynolds (Christine), Erin, Eric, and Ryan Feuster, Jennifer Gibbons (Mike), Scott and Chelsea Ruocco; three great grandchildren, Michael Robert and Riley Juliana Reynolds and Nora Madeline Gibbons; her brother Reinhold Horper (Anita); three sisters, Ria Schroeder, Rosie Dingels and Helma Zenner (Valentine); and many nieces and nephews.

Juliana was predeceased by her siblings, Elsa and Josef Horper and brothers-in-law, Michael Schroeder and Johan Dingels. Visitation will be on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Tuesday February 19th at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen.

Burial to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Donations in Juliana’s memory may be made to Hospice, (845) 561-6111. Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen.
