Obituary for Julie Halliday Conley Graveside services for Julie Halliday Conley, age 59 of Lindale, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Lindale City Cemetery with Judge James Cowart officiating and under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Julie passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Tyler. She was born August 18, 1959 in Teague, TX to the late Thomas Wyatt Jr. and Josephine (Owen) Halliday.

Julie has lived in the Lindale area for the past 36 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Julie loved to fish and spending time at the beach, particularly Matagorda beach.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Susan Halliday Howell. Julie is survived by her husband and best friend of 44 years, Dick Conley of Lindale; daughter, Catie Morrow and Tim of Lindale; son, Jason Conley and Andi of Lindale; brother, Tom Halliday and Trish of Matagorda; sisters, Patti Vaughn of Dallas and Janet Gouldthorpe of Tyler; grandchildren, Lane, Cooper, and Owen; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family has asked that memorial donations be made to The Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd.
