Julie’s Obituary Julie Walters Lister, 69, wife of Gerald Ray Lister, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at The Willows of Harrodsburg. Born January 8, 1950 in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walters and the late Mildred Alcorn Sheperson. She was a retired Mercer County High School English Teacher, she was a 20 year member of the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church and a member of the Gideon’s International Women’s Auxiliary.

She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed traveling and flower gardening and participated and coordinated many children’s ministries including the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree. Additional survivors besides her husband include, her daughter, Kim (Russell) Anderson and her grand-daughter, Meagan Brown. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Errol Archerson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 61, Lawrenceburg, Ky 40342.
