June E. Scott, 85, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2018 with her family by her side at Wexner Heritage Village in Columbus. June was born on May 2, 1933 in Akron, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Marjorie Collins Bradley.

She married her beloved husband, George in June of 1953 and joined him on the family farm in Cumberland. She loved the farm, her gardens, her flowers and country life. June was a Teaching Principle for Chandlersville Elementary School and Roseville Primary School for over 30 years and after retirement enjoyed traveling with her husband and family all over the United States.

She was a faithful member of the Cumberland United Methodist Church. June is survived by her two children: Robert (Annette) and Julie (Steve); her grandchildren: Danielle (Lee), Nickolas (Brooke); her great-grandchildren: Clay and Avery; and her great-great granddaughter, Luna. In addition to her parents, June is preceded in death by her husband George Scott; her great-granddaughter Makayla and her brothers, Billy and Howard Bradley.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Program, www. dkg.org, of which she was an active member. Visitations will be 4 to 8pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home, 63 W. Main Street, New Concord and from 10 am to 11 am Friday.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on 11 am, Friday with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Rich Hill Cemetery in Chandlersville.
