Cowan 1944-2019 June Marie Cowan, 74, of Burlington Junction, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at SSM Health St. Francis Hospital in Maryville. June was born on June 11, 1944 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Delbert and Minnie (Lonjers) Goben. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Burlington Junction, Rolla-Dicks American Legion Auxiliary and was a CNA and dietary cook at many area nursing homes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Goben, first husband, Harold Simpson, second husband, Marvin Cowan, daughter, Lisa Cowan, son, Scott Cowan, brother, Delbert Goben, three sisters, Eva Lease, Charlotte Singleton and Della Jones and four grandchildren. Survivors include, her mother, Minnie Goben; children, Robert Cowan, Miami, Oklahoma; daughter, Brenda (Gary) McBride, Burlington Junction, Missouri; Calvin Cowan, Elmo, Missouri and Karen (Kurt) Peter-Bandur, Clearmont, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services 2pm Friday, February 15th at the First Christian Church, Burlington Junction, Missouri under the care of Price Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in care of the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
