June’s Obituary June Marie Williams passed away peacefully in New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 59. She was born and raised in New Orleans and graduated from Carver Sr. High School. June is the loving mother of two: (son) Terry Coakley and (daughter) Martha Johnson.

Grandmother of Bella Johnson, godmother of Jovan, sister of Hattie Lloyd, Mattie Womble, Toi Monai Williams, Thomas (Myrtle) Williams, Theodore Williams, Donald Ray Williams, and Nathaniel Williams. She’ll also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her mother Martha Polk Williams and nephew Larry Lloyd, Jr. Family and friend are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration Service on Saturday, March 23, 2019 for 10:00 a.m. at Law Street Baptist Church, 3132 Law Street, NOLA 70117.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Johnny R. Arvie, officiating. Interment will follow at Lakelawn Park Mausoleum, 5454 Ponchartrain Blvd.
