Fields and the late Audrey E. King, and she passed away on December 20, 2018, at the age of 57. After moving to Fredericksburg, Virginia, in 1979, she attended James Monroe High School. In 1981, she met and married Tyrone Lee White.
To that union, two children were born, Maia Leanne White and Audrey D. Fields. As time went on, June was later blessed with two sons, Brandon James and Issac Regins. June was a people person.
She was caring, funny, and loving. June loved to ask questions, give her opinion and tell just how she felt. June loved hanging out at Faded and Company Barbershop with James and her barber, Antoine.
She was funny about her hair and was pleased after giving Antoine a shot at cutting her hair. She loved to laugh. She would try to prank phone call you, but it never worked.
She would often laugh before she could finish the prank call. June loved Christmas and often would start talking about how she is going to decorate as soon as fall hit. June was employed with General Motors in Fredericksburg, VA, from 1985.
She later transferred to GA and retired in 2006. After retirement, June worked several jobs including at Mary Washington Hospital and in home health care. June would often become good friends with the people she cared for.
She would often find time to spend with them even on her days off. June was preceded in death by her husband Tyrone L. White, her mother Audrey E. King, sister Jacqueline Battieste, and two brothers Bradley and Carl King. She is survived by two daughters, Maia L. White and Audrey D. “Cookie” Fields; two sons, Brandon J. Regins and Vernon Issac Regins; one brother, Douglas M. King; three sisters, Gloria F. Shepherd (Douglas), Hope R. Williams (Joseph), and Linda Ferguson (Clinton); brother-in-law, John Battieste; granddaughters, Ariell Riley and Na’Riyah McDowney; two grandsons, Malachi Parker and Amari Christopher; two aunts, Anna King and Delores Pinkney; a very special friend and father to her sons, James Regins; a host of nieces and nephews; best friend for over 37 years, Sharon Hudson; and friend, Tailya Fairchilds.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 29, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at A. L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
