Obituary for June Williams June (Godsey) Christenberry Williams January 24, 1937 – May 25, 2018 June (Godsey ) Christenberry Williams, 81, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at her residence. Born January 24, 1937, in Pine Knot, Kentucky, she was the daughter of George and Nola (Moore) Godsey. She was married to James Christenberry for 26 years, having six children.

Three daughters, Janet (Christopher) Allen of Bedford, Judy Brummett of Bedford, Jane Lagenour of Bloomington; three sons, Bill (Mary) Christenberry of Bedford, Jack Christenberry of Solsberry and John (Darla) Christenberry of Bedford; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; step-son, Kevin Williams and step-daughter, Julie Pinell; two brothers, Ray Godsey of Bedford and Harold Godsey of Bedford; two sisters, Jane Franklin of Spencer and Mary Ayers of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and two sisters, Relda Girtman and Judy Brough. June was a member of the Burgoon Church and a member of Bedford Senior Citizens.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Burgoon Church, with Pastor Harold Godsey and Pastor John Woods officiating. Burial will be in Burgoon Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, 9 – 12 PM at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes.
