Justin Anthony Edinger February 28, 1921 – February 07, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Justin A. Edinger, 97, of Tully, NY, passed away Thurs. Feb. 7, 2019 at Upstate Hospital, Syracuse.

Born in Otisco, he was a Tully Central School graduate of 1938 and a Syracuse University graduate of 1943, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He Served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked as a Self-Employed Electrical contractor for 53 years. He was a Charter member and past president of the Otisco Fire Dept.

He played Semi-Pro baseball, was an avid golfer, all-around athlete and sports fan. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Otisco.

Justin was predeceased by his wife, Genevieve, (1992); infant son, Kent; two brothers, Allan and Wilson. Survivors include two daughters, Christine Edinger and Karin Edinger; two sons, Kurt (Marlene) Edinger and Kelan (Beth) Edinger; one sister, Edith (Louis) Gorney; two Grandchildren, Nicole and Kaitlyn; and his long time friend and golfing partner, Phyllis Hegney. A Memorial Mass, will be held on Friday, Feb.

15, 2019 at 10AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 1865 State Rt. 80, Otisco, NY. Private Spring Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Contributions can be made to the Otisco Fire Dept. , 1933 State Rt. 80, Tully, NY 13159.
