Moore, Jr. was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Louise Miller and Justin G. Moore Sr. on July 13, 1922. He attended public schools in Cincinnati, Ohio and later moved to Chicago, Illinois in the late 1940’s. Justin married Osie Bell Willis and was married for 61 years.

He was a good husband and provider and worked in several different fields. He enjoyed his work as an over the road truck driver, which allowed him to see different parts of the country. He worked many years at Republic Steel and retired a couple of decades ago.

Justin was preceded in death by his wife, Osie and his sister, Martha Moore Coursey. Justin was one of the original homeowners and residents of his subdivision in Morgan Park. He enjoyed interacting with his neighbors, helping others and gave himself the title “Mayor of Morgan Park”.

Justin was a friendly, outgoing person. He made his transition February 28, 2019. Justin leaves to mourn his memory his sister, Mildred Heater, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends who will miss him.
