Obituary for Karen Ann Shea Karen Ann Shea, 61, peacefully lost her battle with cancer on October 10th, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Maryland on June 23, 1957 but was raised in southern California. Anybody who knew Karen knew that she was very proud to be a Cali girl!

Around 1975 she met her love Andrew Markwell and had two children, Michael and Justin (Mesha). After Andrew’s passing, she met Rick Seibold with whom she had two more children, Karla (Michael) and Rick (Karen). Karen was such a proud mother but was even more proud of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was so happy to be a great grandmother. Karen was a hard worker, often working three and four jobs – her most special being that of a school bus driver.

She loved her “kids”. As the years passed, she developed health problems which she interpreted as a sign to go to school. In December 2010 she earned her high school diploma and associates degree from Big Bend Community College.

Her kids and grandchildren meant the world to her, but we know she is no longer suffering. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Positive Life Radio. Her memorial service will be Saturday, November 3rd at 1 PM at the Coulee City Assembly of God church.
