VanCurine nee Qualls, age 74, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2019. Mother of Darlene VanCurine, Charlene Weber, Orbie C. VanCurine, III and Geraldine Statham. Sister of Deborah Woodford, Theresa Walls and Larry Qualls.

Grandmother of 10 and Great-Grandma of 9. Aunt of many Nieces and Nephews. Karen looks forward to joining her furry friend Girlee who passed just 2 years ago.

Anyone who knew Karen, knew they could find her at the “Boat” or anywhere BINGO was being played. Everyone was always impressed with the number of cards she could play at one time. Music and dancing were an important part of her life, especially dancing with her friend Bobby Bandos who she kiddingly referred to him as her husband.
