Karen Sue Adams 54, of Oakland entered into eternal rest Saturday May 25, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with loving family by her side. She was born May 4, 1965 in Terra Alta, WV, a daughter of the late Gerald Creamer and Bonney Jean Gribble Shaffer. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She was a Geriatrics CNA at Dennett Road Nursing Home and others. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, her dogs and loved spending time with family and serving the Lord. She was a member of the Apostolic of Oakland Church.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Ridenour, her two daughters, Stephanie Wilt and husband, Mike and Samantha Hamilton and husband, Billy; her three brothers, Gary Creamer, Brad Creamer and Brian Shaffer; pap, Delbert Shaffer who raised her and her Companion, Kenny Holstine and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Cookie Shrout and an infant brother, Patrick. Family will receive friends at The Apostolic of Oakland Church on Wednesday May 29 from 11 am – 1:00 pm followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 pm with Pastor Pascal Crites officiating.

Interment will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers donations to help with funeral expenses can be made to Browning Funeral Home, P. O. Box 1000, Kingwood, WV or on our website.
