Obituary for Karen Sue Rinehart Karen Sue Rinehart, 76, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Memorial Gathering: 1 – 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood, Cedar Rapids. A private burial will be held at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date.

Karen was born August 14, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Margaret (Peters) Pagles. She graduated from Washington High School. Karen worked as a long distance operator for First Data Corporation, retiring in 2002.

Karen is survived by her husband, Bob Tallman of Marion; children, Terry (Lisa) Becker of Arkansas, Randy Becker, Penny (Randy) Rule, Jeff Becker, Doug Becker (Scotty Stillman), and Todd Becker, all of Cedar Rapids, (Cecil) Scott (Rhiannon) Becker of Nevada, and Darla (Jeff) Haas of Cedar Rapids; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Ronald Pagles; and special pets, Toto, Rascal, and Tigger. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jody Becker; and great-grandson, Hayden Tinsley. The family would like to thank Jan Hepker and Liz Briggman for the many hours of comforting phone calls.

A special thanks as well to Jay Clark, who gave her such great care and support, Dr. Angenend and Hospice of Mercy. A very special thank you to Bob for his care of our mother throughout these years.
