OBITUARY Karol Diane Prater January 8, 1940 – July 13, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Karol Diane Prater, 78, of Fairdale, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 13, 2018. She was born January 8, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Louis and Edna Johnson. Karol was an avid University of Kentucky fan, loved cats, and loved to quilt.

Her first husband, Kenneth Thomas Pearl and second husband Dwight Mitchell Prater precede Karol in death. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Terri Wiser(Jeff), Jamie Pearl(Lynda), Striker Pearl(Trish), Joe Pearl, Joanie Thompson(Roger), Julie Pearl, seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren , sister, Patricia Rager(Perry), and a host of many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 12pm at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, Fairdale, Kentucky 40118 with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
