Katherine Hyer (nee Deliman), 68, of South Amboy passed away November 19, 2018 in South Amboy, NJ. Born and raised in South Amboy, where she attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and a graduate from H. G. Hoffman High School. Katherine worked as a housekeeper and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Raymond Deliman, sibilings Jacqueline, Geraldine, Raymond, John, Joseph, Kevin and Cynthia Bybel. Katherine is survived by her sons Raymond (Jennifer) of Saylorsburg, PA and their children Joseph, Jennifer, Jaclyn, James, and Julie; Richard Hyer and his daughter Ashley; daughter, Donna Hyer of New York and her daughter Cheryl Miner (Shawn) of South Amboy; brothers, Michael and Mark Deliman, and 5 sisters, Patricia Deliman, Gail Seamanik, Donna Deliman and Debra Mosinak. 5 great grandchildren, Liam, Kaiden, Adelynn, Shawn Jr., and Victoria along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Friday, November 23, 2018 from 4pm – 8pm at Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879. There will be a prayer service at the funeral home at 7 pm. Cremation will be private.
