Katherine “Kay” Kernicky , a lifelong resident of Yeadon passed away on May 20, 2019. Ms. Kernicky was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA to the late Michael and Rosalie Kernicky.

She was a graduate of Rosemont College. Kay enjoyed her second home in Wildwood Crest, NJ. She was a longtime season ticket holder at the Academy of Music.

She loved to play the piano, knitting and travelling with family. Kay will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Survivors: siblings, Michael Kernicky, Joseph Kernicky, Rosalie Taborsky, Mary Rahn, Paul Kernicky, Gregory Kernicky, John Kernicky and Margaret Mary Kernicky.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Visitation: Thursday, 9:00 am at St. Philomena Church 41 E. Baltimore Ave. Lansdowne, PA 19050.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, 10:00 am at St. Philomena Church. Interment: Private In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Philomena Church. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Katherine M. Kernicky please visit our Sympathy Store.
