OBITUARY Katherine N. Moerbe January 8, 1924 – August 31, 2018 Dorothy Katherine Moerbe, 94 of Austin, Texas passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. She was born on January 8, 1924 in Westpoint, Texas to Oscar and Meta Null. Katherine married Ruben Moerbe on November 11, 1950.

She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She retired in 1986 after forty years with the State of Texas Industrial Accident Board. Katherine was a member of the “Tuesday Nighters”, she was an avid sports fan and played City League softball and volleyball.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Moerbe; parents, Oscar and Meta Null; sisters, Mildred Creel and Ruth Duty; brothers, George Null, Jr., Fred Null, Doug Null and Mark Null; nephews, Mike Branch and Lloyd Duty, Jr. Katherine will be greatly missed by her family and friends that are left to cherish her memories including her nieces, Ann Younger of Austin, Texas, Cricket Morrison of Austin, Texas, Stevelyn Winbigler of Katy, Texas, Nancy Coger of Boerne, Texas and Beverly Herndon of Dallas, Texas; nephews, Gregory Null of Corpus Christi, Texas, Douglas Null, Jr. of Waxahachie, Texas, and Larry Null of Pasadena, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow services at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
