OBITUARY Kristi Noel (Lee) Nordstrom December 13, 1976 – October 24, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Kristi Noel (Lee) Nordstrom, 41, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Originally from La Porte, TX, Kristi attended Texas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Master’s degree in education as a member of the Teachers Fellows Program. Kristi was an outstanding and dedicated classroom teacher for eighteen years.

She began with two years in Austin, and then taught for sixteen years at Bee Cave Elementary School where she was honored as Teacher of the Year, 2012-2013. Kristi was loved by all faculty, students and parents. Kristi is survived by her loving husband David and adoring daughter Heidi, parents Ronny and Sandy Lee of Wimberley, Texas, sister Lori Ponish and brother-in-law Trey Ponish, of Washington, D.C., parents-in-law Del and Diane Nordstrom of Austin, Texas, sisters-in-law Amy and Kim Nordstrom of Shaker Heights, Ohio, the entire Lee and Nordstrom families along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 2, 2018 at LifeAustin, 8901 W. Hwy 71. Private Family Interment will be at Fall Creek Cemetery in Spicewood.

Honoring Kristi as pallbearers will be Allen Lee, Terry Edmoundson, Larry Edmoundson, Jan Stewart, Trey Ponish, Scott Nielsen, and Jeffrey Page. For floral gifts, please contact Freytag’s Florist in Austin directly as they are coordinating flowers for the family.
