OBITUARY Katherine Seay Buchanan January 7, 1946 – February 2, 2019 BUCHANAN, Katherine Seay, 73, of Henrico, VA passed peacefully on February 2, 2019 with her beloved children by her side. She joins her high school sweetheart, Alvin Thomas Buchanan, Sr., who went to be with the Lord in 1996. The only child of Joseph and Sally Bishop Seay, Katherine always lived in the Richmond region and was a long-time employee of Whirlpool Corporation and Circuit City.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Buchanan Skinner (Bruce); son, Alvin Buchanan, Jr. (Stacy); grandchildren, Miranda, Isla, and Rhys; sisters-in-law, Jean Harvey, Phyllis Howe, and Rusty VanCleave; brother-in-law, Calvin Buchanan, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Katherine was incredibly kind-hearted, considerate, and deeply devoted to her family. On Saturday, February 9th at 11:00am, family and friends will gather for a graveside service at Mt.

Calvary Cemetery, followed by a celebration of her life at the Buchanan home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Landmark Baptist Church or the ASPCA.
