Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Pearl Daughtry; husband, John Richard Green; and sister, Joan Jones.

Elsie is survived by her children that she so dearly loved, Ron (Wanda), Sandy (Ron), Richie (Cookie), Kathy (Billy), Philip (Marlo); and also seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at the Bennett Funeral Home, Mechanicsville Chapel, 8014 Lee Davis Rd. , and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

Burial will follow in Middle Memorial Cemetery at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation of America.
