Peter “Pete” Andrew Clark, 52, of Disputanta, VA, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 17, 2019, after a brief illness. Peter was born December 28, 1966, in Youngstown Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jane (Boone) Clark and his brother, Craig M. Clark.
Peter was raised in Youngstown, OH and was a 1985 graduate of Ursuline High School, where he was an outstanding athlete, participating in basketball, football and track. He was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians. No conversation was complete without mentioning the legendary Jim Brown or LeBron James.
For many years, Peter also enjoyed a good game of golf. He enjoyed watching all ESPN sports programs, especially college basketball. He also developed a love for Pinterest and preparing new recipes he discovered there.
He moved from Youngstown to Richmond, VA in 1994. Peter had a personal relationship with the Lord and attended Christian Life Church. While in Virginia, he worked in sales for various companies, including, most recently, Hertz Car Sales in Richmond.
Peter leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 15 years, Helen Dianna Clark; son, Andrew Diaz of Wellsville, OH; stepson, Justin Weaver of Richmond, VA; granddaughter, Annessia Rose-Marie Diaz of Wellsville, OH; sisters Paula B. Ransom of Canton, OH; Wanda D. Moore of Bowie, MD; and Marilyn J. (John) Redd of Mechanicsville, VA; brothers Stephen E. of Richmond, VA; Christopher P. (Marisela) of Disputanta, VA; and Patrick L. (Vicki) of Greenwood, ME; an uncle Kenneth T. Boone of Strongsville, OH an aunt Lucille Boone of Austintown, OH; 15 nieces and nephews; 33 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on March 23, 2019 at Christian Life Church, 12501 Life Trail, Chester, VA 23831, where a Celebration of Life will take place at 2pm, immediately followed by a repast. Interment will be private.
