Obituary for Kathleen Anne Hill (Maguire) Print HILL – Kathleen Anne (Maguire) Hill, age 48, of Sparta, unexpectedly passed away in Brazil on Friday, February 8, 2019. Kathleen is survived by her loving daughter, Marion; oldest daughter, Ashley (Abram) Timmer; her beloved mother, Janet Maguire; devoted sisters, Theresa Shehorn (Bobby Heuberger) and Holly (Dave) Rotter; nieces and nephews, Thomas, Michael and Allison Shehorn, Daniel and Mitchell Rotter; aunts, uncles, cousins and 25 exchange students from around the world most recently Maria Chaves and Yuri Abreu, and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Maguire; grandparents, Georgia and Stewart Ruelle and Melanie and John Maguire (James McAller).

Kathleen was a graduate of Ferris State University with an Environmental Health Degree. She was a Registered Sanitarian and owned and operated her business for 15 years along with her administrative assistant Katlynn Hutchens. Kathleen was a free spirit, animal lover, protector to many she welcomed into her home with open arms.

She was definitely spectacular and great. When not working hard in her business she loved to travel and entertain many friends. The family will receive family and friends for visitation at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2019.

The celebration of Kathleen’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. In memory of Kathleen, please consider memorial contributions towards her daughter Marion’s education fund entrusted through Independent Bank.
