OBITUARY Kathleen E. Allen March 4, 1946 – September 2, 2018 Kathleen Elizabeth Allen, born March 4, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert H. and Laura K. (nee Junker) Thien, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 in O’Fallon, Illinois. Kathleen was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Paderborn, IL where she was an active member in several organizations when she was able. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 16 years James “Jim” Allen.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Mary Pat (Mark) Davitz; Laurie Mounce; Jim Allen; grandchildren, Katelyn Mounce; Aubrey Davitz; Adam Davitz, Haley Davitz; brothers, Fred (Ruth) Thien; Robert (Joann) Thien; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family. We can’t begin to express our gratitude for the love and care given by Janice, Kristin, Bryan and family and everyone at Joe’s Place. Thank you for making her part of your family.

We are so glad she was able to come home! Friends may gather with the family Thursday, September 6 from 4-8 pm at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights, IL. A funeral mass will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday September 7, 2018 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Paderborn, IL with Father Jim Voelker and Father Carl Scherer officiating.

Memorial contributions in Kathleen’s honor may be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
