Obituary Service Details Commodore William “Bill” Cox Jr. of Fairview Heights, IL, born on January10, 1957 in Birmingham, AL, died on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Bethesda Village Nursing Home, St. Louis, Missouri. Commodore was employed as a baker for the Pillsbury Bakery Co. Hazelwood, MO. He was a loyal member and the chief Shop Steward of Bakers’ BCTGM Local #4, Earth City, Mo.

He was also a member of the VFW Post 1117 Mens’ Auxiliary, Caseyville, IL. Karaoke was one of his passions. He was preceded in death by his parents Commodore William Cox Sr. and his mother Mona Georgina, nee Fontanez, Cox Sr., his sister Ida Dunn.

Bill is survived by his daughter Alexis (Joseph) Stell of Waterloo, Il; his grandchildren, Aiden Stell, Alexander Stell, and Adelaide Stell; his sister Dianna (Ron) Trigg and his stepmother, Mary Ann Cox. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary Chapel Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Msgr William McGee officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Garden, Fairview Heights, IL.
