Obituary Service Details Constance S. “Connie” Ohlendorf, nee Hamilton, age 72, of New Athens, IL, born on July 13, 1946 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Evelyn’s House, Creve Coeur, MO. Connie was employed at Grandpa’s Store, Swansea, IL and previously worked for Clinton Hill Golf Course, Swansea, IL. She was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church, New Athens, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Dorothy M., nee Hill, Hamilton; and her siblings, Robert L. Hamilton, Ronald J. Hamilton and Deborah J. Pfannebecker. Connie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry R. Ohlendorf, Sr.; her son, Jay (Cindy) Ohlendorf of Columbia, IL, and her daughter, Amy (Mike) Weisbrodt of New Athens, IL; her grandchildren, Christopher, Kolin, and Kelsie; her siblings, Everett L. (Judy) Hamilton of Columbia, IL, Steven C. (Virginia) Hamilton of Columbia, IL, Sharon L. (Paul) Rongey of Belleville, IL, Randall S. (Lola) Mascoutah, IL, Gary D. (Phyllis) Hamilton of Chelsea, AL, Denise R. (Joseph) Hoepker of Millstadt, IL, Janice M. Hamilton of Belleville, IL, Neil (Debbie) Hamilton of St. Clair, MO, Mark (Denise) Hamilton of Collinsville, IL, Donald G. (Cindy) Hamilton of Affton, MO, Bradley J. (Tammy) Hamilton of Smithton, IL, Tracy A. (Rich) Schmidt of Collinsville, IL, Kelly J. (Teresa) Hamilton of Barnhart, MO, Robert D. (Sherry) Hamilton of Smithton, IL; over 100 nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her special friends, Mike and Chris Rix, Bob Frazier and Gordie Benedick.

Memorials are preferred to Evelyn’s House, Creve Coeur, MO or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Catholic Church, New Athens, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Catholic Church, New Athens, IL with Fr. James Nall officiating. Interment will be held in Green Mount Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
