Kathleen’s Obituary Kathleen F. (Woomert) Styer, 90, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Frederick Living. Born in Red Hill to the late Pierce E. and Amelia A. (Bitting) Woomert, she was the beloved wife of the late LeRoy A. Styer. Kathleen was a longtime resident of Red Hill prior to her relocation to Frederick Living.

She attended the Allentown School of Business and worked as a bookkeeper for C&G Buick in Emmaus for 35 years and later for Sands Brothers in Quakertown for six years. She was a member of the Red Hill Firehouse Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and Democratic Committee. She was also an avid gardener, animal lover, and decorator, especially during the holidays.

Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Michelle A. Laessig (Stefan), of Pennsburg, and Denise A. Chrisman, of Palm; four grandchildren, Lindsay, Alexander, Hans, and Samantha; and four great grandchildren, Nolan, Olivia, Lucas, and Weston. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, George Woomert; and sister, Arlean Wissler. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, January 23rd from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076.

A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery in Pennsburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen’s name are requested to the Montgomery County SPCA, PO Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428-0222.
