Kathleen Judd Bolinder, 80, passed away on March 11, 2019 at her home in Coalville, Utah. She was born the second of two children on February 1, 1939 to Ralph LaVar and Emma Brown Judd, in Hoytsville, Utah. She loved spending time on the ranch at Grass Creek in her early years and attended North Summit School District, where she enjoyed being a Twirler.

She married Samuel “Roy” Bolinder on November 8, 1957 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, Coalville/Hoytsville, Utah and Cheyenne, Wyoming. They raised four sons, Craig Lavar (Nancy) Bolinder, Mt.

View, WY; Scott Judd (Dusadee) Bolinder, Hoytsville, UT; Rick Arlin (Colleen) Bolinder, Evanston, WY; Kirt Judd (Amy) Bolinder, Eden, UT and were blessed to have 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Edwin LaVar “Bud” (Meresa) Judd. Kathleen worked at various jobs throughout her life, her favorite being a long haul truck driver.

Being in the outdoors brought her much happiness. She loved riding horses, driving her Polaris Ranger, being at her Grass Creek Cabin with family, riding her lawn mower and gardening. Her pet dogs also made her smile.

Kathleen was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully served in many callings. She and Roy also served as Ordinance Workers in the Denver and Odgen Temples.

Much appreciation goes to family, friends and Encompass Hospice for the loving care given to Kathleen and Roy at this time. Viewings will be Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Coalville, Utah Stake Center from 6-8pm and Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 9:45 to 10:45am, followed by Funeral Services at 11:00am. Interment will be at the Hoytsville, Utah Cemetery.
