Kathleen’s Obituary Weatherhead Young Funeral Home 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723 Kathleen Klinetob, age 71, of Brick passed away Thursday May 2, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in NYC and resided there and in Edison, NJ before moving to Brick 35 years ago. She worked at Gioia Sails, Lakewood NJ for the past 15 years.

She previously worked at Lakewood Riding Center. Kathleen, (aka) “KK” was a simple woman who appreciated the small things in life. She was strong and courageous throughout her life, never once complaining during her 3 year battle with cancer.

She was kind and caring with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed horseback riding, cooking, crafts, Disney, photography, new adventures, country music, line dancing, and spending time with her friends and family. Kathleen’s favorite sayings were: FROG- “Forever Rely On God”, “It is what it is” and she loved sending out a daily inspiring FB post: “Have a Happy and Positive Day”.

KK was truly grateful for all that God gave her and found much peace and serenity spending time at St. Joseph’s by the Sea. Kathleen is predeceased by her parents Ken and Mary Thorne and Brother Paul “Paby” Thorne. She is survived by her devoted daughter Laura Holdren- Martin and son-in-law Dominick, with whom she resided.

Loving son Kenneth Shornock of Toms River, NJ. Two adoring sisters Patricia Rayburn of Toms River, NJ and Evelyn Camacho of Caguas, PR; Three precious grandchildren: Kenneth Shornock Jr., Kevin Shornock; Kayla Pellington; extended family, cherished friends and her beloved horse “ODIE”. A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday May 8, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 6:00pm at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick.
